We learned the rules to marbles. There’s a circle. In the middle of the circle you make an X out of 18 marbles. You take a different marble. You shoot it. If it hits a marble and then that marble goes out of the circle, you get your first marble. If you shoot your marble and hits a marble and it doesn’t go out of the circle you take your marble back. You don’t earn any marbles. You wait for your next turn. |

Most of all, boys like to play ball. They plaed with a tether ball filled with feathers. Boys had tops to spin, drums to bang, pop guns to pop. They had hoops to roll, marbles to shoot, and kites to fly. They had trees to climb and icey ponds to skate on. Their skates were made with wooden runners.
